My youngest son got lucky and drew a muzzy tag for deer here in Idaho Oct.1-Oct.14. We worked hard all summer scouting and preparing. I wanted to get him a new muzzy for this hunt and we looked at a lot of them. We ended up getting a White from Doubless off of this forum and its hands down one of the best shooting muzzleloaders we've ever owned. Thanks again Doubless.
Opening day we were after our first buck on the hit list but with other hunters after him and his location we decided we didn't want to be part of that show. On day two we found his buck which was number 3 on our list and he decided we should go after him. We bedded them and made a stalk on them that put us waiting for him to stand just 60 yards away. After 3 1/2 hours of waiting his buck finally stood and he made a perfect shot dropping him right back down in his bed. A great buck for his first muzzy muledeer.

NICE Buck Guys!

What kinda Load You Shooting out of the White?

Most of them I've Toyed with like the Heavier Conicals!

We shoot the 460 No Excuses and 100 grains of 777. Its a tack driver! My other son has another muzzy tag that opens tomorrow. He'll be shooting the White too.

Which rifle did you get from Scot? One of the Whitetails, or a 98? I had two of my friends shoot one of my Whitetails for antelope this season and it performed flawlessly.
