Wasatch East/ Current Creek area

I have a late Muzzle Loader Deer tag for this area. I have hunted it for the rifle, but never been in the area later in the year. Do any of you hunt the area for Muzzle Elk? this hunt runs the same time, so I was wondering if the animals are pushed on the private ground or is they are back out and starting to rut?

That is the million dollar question for sure.. I have this tag also,, I have hunted late season Cow elk at the end of Nov. and ran into a few, very few, rutting big bucks over the years..

I am yet to see any signs of rut activity this year, and unless we get some snow and cold weather, I'm afraid we are in for some tough hunting Walleye..

I am new to the later hunting. I have all ways hunted the early muzzle loader or the rifle hunt. I have talked to a lot of other people and they have told me that they may be in the pre-rut. Talked to the biologist today and he said that he is getting reports of the pre-rut starting already.

can we all pray for some weather to help us out? I am getting excited for the hunt. good luck to you Rink, hope to see a picture of your harvest.
