I know of no one man enough to point that anvil bender at a milk jug! But she sure is pretty! You are an ar-tiest...

Well Lump,

Say what you want, but I think I now have the secret combination. I have been reading on the internet until I'm cross-eyed. I went to the range this morning with different combinations and my last combination was the best with a three shot group of 3" at 200 yards. I just hope I can duplicate it constantly.

Do you think I can sit on the ridge where I dumped the RZR down the hill and shoot a deer on their routine path of 500 yards. Then again I would probably get it scratched. :)

Love that ML scope.

Dang sure could!

We'll go over there and dig out a 4 foot by 7 foot hole, 3 feet deep. Set up the table, put the lead sled in position, drop a couple of reclining lawn chairs in place.

Put a cooler full of ice under the table, fill it with watermelon and Diet Coke, under the table. Make sure you bring some salt for the melon. And..... a roll of paper towels. ?

We'll take a lunch pail full of marshmellow rice crispy squares, some fresh baked begals, some Garden Veggie Cream Cheese spread, a large bag of Jack Links Jerky , in case we get to feeling a little faint from a lack of nurishment. We'll us my new Gerber, with the gut hook, to spread the cream cheese, so leave the plastic stuff at home.

I'll run the range finder, you operate the scope adjustments on that anvil bender and sooner or later a yearling will wander out of the sage and you can arch one across that draw and........... if he'll hold still for 15 seconds, I'm reasonably sure you can make a half inch hole in him, somewhere.

Sounds like a hell of a good time to me, when do we load the backhoe? Probably want to give the archers a few days before we go charging in there like Patton's Engieers.

Glad you got that "thing" broke to lead. ? Sure is pretty. When can I shoot it?

Got to change the game plan Lumpy. Time to get serious and need more help from Idahoron or some other experts from the MM realm. When I got the 3" group was a cool early morning. Yesterday at noon, a warm sunny day, I set up a target with the same onion skin patch with the tails cut off that I got the good group with before. I set up a 4 ft. target with a cross made out of 5/8" black electrical tape, top to bottom and side to side at 200 yards. I had all eight of the holes in the black vertical tape, but they were in a verticle 7" line. I am cleaning between shots by swabbing the barrel. I am doing nothing different than I have done the other times shooting (which have been several) and never have I had a vertical grouping.

What could the reasons be for the vertical grouping? I was wondering if it was the heating of the barrel from the sun?

By the way Lumpy, we could take all of those other treats, but I found a person could loose weight if they will stay off the diet drinks. STICK TO WATER! That's the secret... I sure like the idea of the lead sled and easy chair though.

Where you at Idahoron? Cannonball here needs your assistance!

I got rid of the string. I put a block of wood under the leadsled and when I put some permanent spacers on the sled it eliminated the string.
