Thor bullet pushed by 130 gr, 777, 80 yards.

Bullet entered through left shoulder and ended up mid body, little high. Most of the way through the hide. I told him another 50 foster it would have passed through.

Went 40 yards.

Your thoughts on bullet performance.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-18-17 AT 06:07AM (MST)[p]I wouldn't change a thing. Looking at the deformation of bullet, it hit some major bone. That is all you can ask of a bullet, especially how far he went. You didn't really have to track him. For a double lung shot, that would have gone through and produced a blood trail.

I suspect accuracy may fall if he pushes it faster

I actually suggested the Thor to him although I have never used it.

He worked up the load and it was very accurate in his gun, just not legal in his home state of Idaho.

The 50 fps comment was directed at penetration, not suggesting he push it faster.

He's at max load for his gun anyways. His accuracy kept improving until he got to max. Never happens for me. Always hit a place where accuracy starts to suffer and I have to back off.
