LAST EDITED ON Oct-14-17 AT 06:13PM (MST)[p]Hey guys I was wondering if anyone on here owns or has used one of the Knight Disc Extreme(Western)muzzleloaders with the thumbhole stock/.50 cal. I am looking at buying one and am just looking to hear some opinions and advice from someone that has shot one. I would love to hear what powder/bullet combos have worked well for you guys. I will be hunting elk and deer in Idaho with it. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I have been using no excuse 460 grain conical as well as triple 7 loose powder. I started low and worked up with great success so far. I live in idaho

I ordered the no excuses earlier this week and the disc extreme got here last night. I can't wait to shoot it, thanks for the advice.

I love mine. I also bought the non diSC convertion kit for it, so I can shot bare 209 primers. It a very good gun.
