CVA Accura V2: Is There A Need for "0" Rings On The Primer?

I recently purchased a new CVA Accura V2 M.L. rifle (Long Range model). I will use Black Horn 209 powder and I am wondering if I should use an 0 ring on the hot CCI 209 primer that I will be using. Do most new CVA models require the 0 ring? How important is placing an 0 ring on the primer to the overall accuracy of this muzzle loader? Would appreciate your experience with this matter. Cow Tag

The o-ring only helps seal the blowback through the primer receptacle. It will not make the gun any more accurate or increase the likelihood of ignition. You can shoot the gun without the ring installed and look at your primers. If you have soot on the walls of the primer, you may want to use the o-ring. It just helps keep the carbon buildup from the primer area.

It Won't Be Long and a 22" PISSCUTTER will be known as a Trophy that will be put on the Wall!
