Got a Traditions St.Louis Hawken .50cal kit for my dad for Christmas. I did one earlier in the year and he mentioned that he wanted to start shooting his sidelock again. I hate his current sidelock as it constantly misfires due to the crap breech, so I decided it was best to start fresh and new and personalize his next rifle.
Lots of work done already, bedded the barrel, got the lock and trigger in. Just taking my time and enjoying this one.
