CVA optima accuracy?

i have a chance to trade for one of these in 50 cal, brand new. are they accurate? thanks in advance.

My optima shoots just as good as my omega but at 1/3 of the price. Can?t go wrong with the optima.

What would you say is max effective range? Thnx.

That really depends on if you put a scope on it or not. With a 3x9 scope I can hit a paper plate at 300 yards all day. That is my effective range and what I practice to. It depends on the setup and the shooter of course. There is a lot of drop to the bullet past 200 yards. I'm shooting blackhorn powder and a Barnes sabot.

My Optima V2 is VERY accurate. I just looked through my target file for that gun and have one target around 1/2 inch and another that is one ragged hole - 3 shot groups. I am someone that has has done a lot of handloading for many centerfire rifles and my Optima will run with the best of the ones I own - at least at 100 yards. The few 200 yard targets I have show 2 1/2 - 3 inch groups with the Optima.
