First 2014 shed hunt in new mexico

Going to go looking for dropped mule sheds tomorrow see what I can find and scout some elk wintering areas so I can have a good idea where they will be for the coming months I will keep you guys posted on what happens tomorrow!

that's cool I am from New Mexico to went out today seen to giant bulls still wearing but seen a buck looks like he dropped good luck

How did it go? I have seen 21 bucks in the last 3 days and every single one still had both sides.

Well went to some of my favorite mule deer locations and didn't see one nor did I see any sign of deer but while out there I was able to sit watch a herd of elk with a few of nice bulls in it.

I have found the elk are pushing the deer out in my area of NM. Although I did manage a nice buck on my hunt this year, lots more walking than previous years to even find fresh sign of deer this year.
