Last year I posted up my sons curse with only finding 3 points

Here's a link to that thread

He found his first four point the other day.

Here it is

He is a very happy boy. We didn't draw an EXPO tag but when we were at the expo on Saturday we had just walked into the exhibit floor when they started doing a drawing for some rifles and a four wheeler. The first name called was my sons. They couldn't give him a rifle because of his age so he got 2 $400 gift certs to sportmans warehouse. The next 15 minutes at the expo consisted of seeing the tines up booth, the mossback booth, a few pics and then I gave in to the incesant "lets go to sportmans warehouse" An hour and a half later my 12-year-old was holding two boxes. One with a savage accutriggered .270 with nikon 3x9 scope and the other with a remmington express 20 guage shotgun. Lucky little snot, but he saved me from buying them anyway.

We went out to shoot the 20 guage and ended up finding some sheds including the 4 point in the picture.

Here's the rest.

It's funny to note that his next find reverted back to the 3 point you see in the picture. My heart jumped when they drew for the 4 wheeler and my first name was called. Too bad the last name wasn't mine too.

congrats to your son. it is obvious that you are teaching him very valuable ethics. it brought back to me very memorable times with my son, and friends.
thanks for sharing. he deserves that recognition as all youth does.
