Yea,he will be mounted.I will drop him off at a taxidermy tomorrow,he will be a great addition to the cabin.I will definately post you some pictures when he is on the wall.

Looks mighty Well Preserved!

Was He Shaded up?

A Lion must of covered His Antlers Up?

He was on a northeast facing slope in the sage, uncovered.probably died towards the end of last year.Had a few good snowstorms in that country at the end of the year and the first part of this one but has been dry for some time.lots of coyote tracks around but saw no cat tracks.

Did you put a tape to that awesome buck? Close to 200"? What state? Congratulations to you and the Mrs.

Doesn't take a CSI team to wonder if somebody poached that buck then went back and "found" it. Exactly why you can't pick up deadheads in Utah.

Northwest Colorado? - On or off of the Monument?? Lots of things to make you go hmmmm...

I call bull and am asking for a complete investigation. I am pretty sure I saw that buck below the powerlines in my sister-in-law's garden eating apples out of her 4 year old's hands on December 2nd!

"Pics or it didn't happen!"

If you got balls enough to tell my wife she didn't find this deadhead legit on public land after people have already been walking around on it looking for sheds, more power to you. Jealousy is all I can see from here. How nice people like you try to steal her glory.

Don't pay attention to the jealousy. In fact, I'm not sure if the posters comment wasn't a joke?? Anyway, keep boot pounding with the wife. You'll never know what you may find.

This morning I picked up a pair of binos. Cheapos. That's the 5th pair of binos in over 30 years of shed hunting. It would be interesting for MM shed hunters to post what interesting finds they have come upon when out shedding throughout the years. I would post mine...but ot might seem a bit unbelievable. Lol

Hope this picture comes out for you. YBO. One of three buffalo horns I have found over the years.

That's a heck of a deadhead! Tell your wife congrats! That buffalo horn made me laugh, I'm not sure what I thought it was, but buffalo horn wasn't what I was thinking. Lol.

I guess the horn looks like a tur! on a carpet huh.Probably should have used a better background.

I see some people are way jealous of her find on this forum. Thats a gorgeous gorgeous buck! Congrats to your wife!

Not everyone is a a pos that poaches there fellas...
