A Big "Whitey" for 2015

Super mild winter weather, and a bad case of cabin fever...I grabbed my video camera and went to explore country I'd never been in before. After several hours of nothing, I spotted two small bucks on the move. Tried unsuccessfully to close on them, but I was surprised to stumble upon a decent shed! So, #1 for the year, and a nice one at that! :)

Any naysayers or "what was he thinking" posters...no such thing as an antler hunting season or permit requirement for NV at present (A Utah acquaintance wanted to know if I had a permit(?)!)Also, I was not specifically "hunting antlers", but was trying to close on two buck deer to capture them on video as I stated.
I guess if there were a season this would be in violation, even though it was a one or two year old shed antler that I found!
If this were another site of some sort, I suppose I would be accused of depriving rodents of a source of calcium in their diets! And there is the Leave No Trace crowd that is entitled to their beliefs. :)

Lol!

Can you post the information about the season, or lack thereof. I am from a part of wyoming hathas no season, so it really doesn't matter to me, but I read an article just a few days ago about how Nevada approved a shed antler season in March of 2014. Awesome shed by the way.

WYO...sent link to a posting on this site previously that pretty well explains what's happening in Nevada in a PM to you.

Thanks NVPete. Like I said, I am just curious and i always like reading about an staying informed about these types of regulations.
