Idaho Unit 6 Spot and Stalk?

I am looking into doing a spring black bear hunt in Idaho this spring. Last years harvest numbers said that Unit 6 had the most bears harvested. I am wanting to do spot and stalk but I have read on various elk hunting forums that Unit 6 is very thick and dense. Is it not possible to do a spot and stalk bear hunt in Unit 6? Any help is very much appreciated Thanks

First of all if you put this in the idaho forum you will have more success. I have hunted one section of unit 6 and hiked a couple other areas. Saying unit 6 is very vague, it is a vast area with multiple types of terrain and different ecosystems. The ticket for me was finding a massive clear cut up high surrounded by timber with natural grass terrain mixed in. Never hunted spring bear up there though, but have seen plenty of sign though. If you pm me specific area you plan to hunt I could be more specific.
