Can any one go out to antelope island and shed hunt any time

Not legally. Only one day per year is it opened and it's only opened to those who purchase the permit. Permits go on sale in Feb., and sell out within minutes, as they only offer 100 for each side of the island.
They sold out in about 3 minutes this year. Crazy!

They usually go on sale the 1st of February and sell out in about 5 minutes. They only sale 50 passes per side and they cost $50 a pass. It's fun and they pick up some big sheds but it's basically just a foot race.

Yes, $300 would probably separate me from my ticket. ha ha
Although, I'm confident I'l be the lucky one this year. A 210 set will satisfy.

A buddy from work was just out there this week and got video of a dude walking down the trail with a pile of bone, and then he stashed it. My buddy called the dwr and they said they could not do anything about it because he had no video of the guy picking up the antlers off the trail.

This is why you guys can have these shed hunting areas! Rules do not apply to those who do not honor them. The honest get screwed every time in every situation.
