I went out this Saturday & saw a bull still packing both sides....seemed weird to me? Is it common for them to hold on to their antlers this late? I also saw one the weekend prior still packing both sides, along with a 4x4 muley which still had both sides.

Not unusual for elk. A few years back while shed hunting, I came across a group of bulls that had one bald, 3 raghorns/spikes still packing hard horn and 3 bulls in velvet...one clearly had 6 pts to a side already...

Pretty unusual for deer, though.
