How late is too late?

It's always shed season but when do you stop looking for sheds in the spring? As they start to bleach to where they won't sell as Browns any more? Or when it gets too hot to hike? Or is there a season in your state?

Ballpark when is it too late to look for Browns anymore?

I never stop looking. Found my best antler ever in Dec. Found a big mule deer antler in Jan in the timber that had as good of color as any antler I have found in April. Wasn't a fresh shed as less than a hour latter I was watching the buck still packing both antlers.

Sure, it's too late. Just go fishing. Really, that's a question. If you're just in it for the cash, just stop.

Actually the best time to find sheds is august-Sept..the Hard Whites stick out like sore thumbs then...a little Antler Magic help and they are fresh browns again...

Agree, it's never too late. I look all year long for antlers I missed during peak season.
