They all winter killed. I'd just drive up to Evanston and go chase the sheds there right now. Lots of snow has them congregated pretty good in some spots. Might even find a dead head or 2. Better bring your saw

There will be a bunch of snow out there you might even get stuck.
The last 6 years the quality has only gotten worse IMO. Alot of people shed hunt it as well it's a pretty close LE unit so expect alot of pressure. I'm sure the deer are struggling on this unit as well this year so try to be mindful of giving them some space if you do venture out that way.
