Just watched channel 2 news and the DWR were on there talking about the closure until April 1st. they said the fine was $250!!!! FOR REAL $250??? what's your thought's??

If it's the law it's the law. 250 is peanuts in my opinion.take there hunting privileges away for a few years and see the impact

Its $250 if your're caught looking for sheds. If you are caught with sheds, or stashing sheds, then it is a different charge and can be as high as $1,000.

My current situation precludes me from caring about your opinion but go ahead and give voice to it anyway...

Kinda like James Bond... "Are you looking for shells?" Nope I'm just looking...

Bet she wouldn't get a ticket.

If a person doesn't have any sheds on them, how can they issue a ticket for looking for sheds? What constitutes "looking" for sheds? You know what I mean?
Every Saturday hiker in Utah could get a ticket. I don't think they can stop people with a law from hiking around the mountains, using their eyes to look around. The state owns the shed antlers until they're picked up. I think the law is, one can't pick up antlers.

That was kinda the point I was trying to make founder, I guess it missed the mark.

In all seriousness how much is the fine for texting or talking on your mobile device while driving in Utah?

Not sure, but not enough I guess.

I actually count people texting and driving on my commute home. It's kind of fun. $250 isn't alot if you're talking about sneaking off with some march elk sheds.
