All my photos are on my camera, but here's my boy with his best one for the day that my wife took.
We found 24 antlers between the 3 of us.

LOTS of dead fawns. We looked at an estimated 50-60. I would guess 95%+ mortality amongst fawns. Also found a few yearlings dead and then only two that may have been mature does. No mature bucks found dead. I looked closely at nearly every carcass I saw.
The deer had eaten everything!! They were obviously starving. The deer I saw still didn't look too healthy, but I think if it remains somewhat warmer and we get no big snow storms that cover what feed is beginning to come up, what's alive now will survive.
Big fawn losses, a few yearlings died and not many mature deer lost.

That's a bummer to see so much fawn loss and the less than desirable state of their current condition but at least they got to work on restoring their fat reserves between runs from shed hunters this weekend

50-60, yes. There were lots of them. Like I said, I would guess most fawns died. I did see a few fawns with the groups of deer I saw, but not many. The fawns this year died. I was actually a little surprised that I didn't find more older deer that died.

It was a bummer to see so many of them. It's really good that they closed shed hunting. It would be a real shame if those deer had been getting run around in Feb. and Mar.

BrIan we need reports over the state. I found two here in no utah. I covered about 6 miles.

We ran up to the Crawford Mtns. I wanted to go up there just to get a feel for how the Wyoming deer did.
Here above my house in Farmington, just walking the trails, I found a couple dead fawns.

We covered some country, me and my boy. we found 3 dead fawns and 2 dead does. Only say the 5. I was quite surprised. we were on the Wasatch, south end.
