Let's be honest...what would YOU do?

Nevada my home state recently passed a law regulating shed antler hunting in counties that have elk populations; with a NO HUNTING in effect from January 1 through April 30. And I believe some other states have restrictions or established seasons. I'm usually out and about, even in winter. I consider myself a respectful and ethical hunter. This year, I was already up to 11 shed antlers (10 last years, 1 "brownie"), when the new law went into effect. So I am biding time until season opens. Just curious what most would do (including the Fish and Game personnel)in this situation:Just take picture, look and drive by, look around to see who's watching and then sneak it or stash it(AND if a person did pick it up and hide it is that illegal or just unethical?) This situation has happened to me on several occasions over the years, and in all cases it was legal to take and possess (and in all situations I was looking for deer to photograph or videotape, and not antler hunting at the time).

Pictures of my 11 for this year; and the roadside antler was from last year, and is the biggest 3pt. I've ever found, with a 16" main beam (his spread had to be about 32" plus!)

If you have to ask, you already know the answer. I drive by fresh elk sheds all the time on a monument where they are illegal to pick up. It's wrong.

Well I'm staying clear till 29th when I'll go out and glass if I don't see any I'll know that following the law is worthless but I don't want any trouble for me. It would be bittersweet to find a big pile stacked up but I'd take em come Tuesday morning.
