A lot of naysayers about posting sheds, Lots of drama, etc. about the "cheaters" or "stashers" around these parts. Me , I just like to hike and "hunt". If I find anything at all, that's just icing on the cake. So I'll go ahead and post; and encourage others, too. Like in a card game- "Whatcha got?" The new shed season opener around here was May first; I was kinda bummed as it rained all day. So, the first day, I decided to start where I'd actually seen an elk a few weeks ago. Alas, no elk, just old sign: BUT I stumbled upon this nice muley "whitey" set, and a road killed (I surmised) 4pt. Day two, I went to where I'd seen two nice bucks in November, hoping to find the proverbial "needle in a haystack". Not the greatest I would've hoped for; again no fresh deer or elk sign, but I did find an unusual elk set (a 6x4): completely missing a G2 on the right side and a large gap between the G1 and G2 on the left. If I'd found them far apart, I'd never even consider them a match as they appear so different! I found a small muley and elk antler to boot!
