I got fortunate opening morning and shot a nice coues deer (my first with a bow). I had one big buck (90") come in at 10:00 am but he presented no opportunity to draw and then came so close to my blind that he busted me. At 10:00 the buck I shot 3x2 around 75" with eye guards came sneaking in and I was able to put a good shot into him. He ran about 25 yard and piled up. I have the pictures of him alive and field photos but am challenged and dont know how to post so if someone knows how to post them, I will forward to you...............Thanks, Allen Taylor......

Allen,

Congratulations man! I'm sure you're still on cloud nine. Send me the pics, I'll post them up!

I'll PM you my email address.

Again, congratulations, any deer with a bow is a good one, nevermind a coues! That is awesome!

Great live photos, I like the one where he's napping on the tree....and then to take him with a bow......congratulations.

Hope to get my first onewith a bow soon too.

Good job.

Mark

PS. kidding about the "nap" photo

Niiiiiiice. A coues with a bow is a great accomplishment. Congrats! What unit?

Also, I was hunting up south of Williams during season for big muleys and one morning I ran into two coues, one being a little buck. Never got a chance at him but still way cool to see coues that north. Anyone seen coues in that area or even more north then that?
