Arizona 23 late hunt

I have a friend who has drawn a unit 23 late tag and was wondering if there is anyone who has hunted this unit that could give us advise on where to start. He has been down there looking but it is a big unit and any help would be appriciated. This is our first coues deer hunt and I have read everything on coueswhitetail.com , what a great website. Thank you for your help.

There are some great pix and stories and info on Mm but good luck on trying to get any info on hunting units! Who wants to give up their hard earned info to a stranger! I am not trying to be mean I am just stating the obvious, good luck! EW

I know unit 23 very well as a matter of fact, why don't you send me your e-mail and I will send you some pix of some bucks in 23! But I wont tell you where they are!

Hey I am not asking for secret spots or someone to take me by the hand, I just thought there might be someone out there that might help point me in the right direction.

Try looking above Roosevelt. The unit has good bucks in it, but the lions really hit them hard. Also some good area down cherry creek road.......... Thanks, Allen Taylor......

If I had the tag Id try greenback valley - back around Conway ranch - we've pulled a few deer of mud creek area

Other than that some great areas in the desert foothills from pumkin center all the way down to Roosevelt lake ---MM
