AZ Nov Buck

Just got in from our November whitetail hunt in Southern AZ. The full moon wasn't very helpful as bucks were bedded all day in the area we pounded over the last week.

My friend Todd was able to take this great buck on the last day of the hunt--FIRST COUES DEER!

I love these little guys and have to admit that they are a lot more difficult to glass than mule deer!

Congrats Todd on a great start to your whitetail career man!

congrats. At lease you saw a buck. We hunted the early Nov hunt and all we saw were does.

Tony-- the book says it all! The glassing tips were really helpful. I swear mule deer are my passion--born and raised obsessing over them and I will throw all the respect I can at the difficulty of harvesting a trophy.

With that being said--whitetails are still a tougher hunt. I cannot believe some of the deer we glass up. Theyre size, color, stealth and cautious habits make them a great challenge. They are just made to evade hunters.

qwest--

Us too. There were does everywhere! I think that full moon really screwed things up as well as hunting pressure. We actually saw bucks every day but it was always when they were bedded or as they were busting out of the country!

Addict, great job. That is a nice buck especially under the tough November situation. I personally think Coues are one of the toughest hunts. So hard to glass them up sometimes and they are so spooky........congratulations.........I cant wait for my dec. hunt to start........ Thanks, Allen Taylor......
