This is what Jim found a few weeks ago here in AZ. It was a lion kill. The Game and fish estimated him to be about 9 years old.

It just amazes me the size of the hugh bucks that continue to pop up here and there. Congratulations to Jim on finding this awesome buck and thanks for not charging me the $10 to hold him.

Anybody ready to put in, I know I am!

Hi Todd, I'm no expert either but it is my understanding that it was measured by an expert. I wouldn't just guess this figure because I am not an expert. If you had it in your hands and looked at it next to the 110" buck he took years ago you would agree its a monster.

His width, lots of mass and yes long MB's makes this buck.

Thanks, Eric

Thats a nice buck, and was probably a great snack for some lion...buy a lion tag guys and help out the herds !!

Monster Coues no doubt! It may gross 140"+ but it wouldn't net that. Either way, too bad a lion got him, that's a helluva buck! I hope to have a chance at something within 40" of him this January!

Netted 138 7/8

Cracks me up when guys post comments like that. Really doesn't matter to me what it scored, just wanted you guys to see it. Nick feel free to call Clay Goldman at Mogollon Taxidermy. Here's his info, one of the best in the area and he officially scored it.

I like how someone tries to share something that is pretty cool
and he gets attacked. That buck looks monsterous in the trail cam pic on azxtremes Website. Most guys will never see a buck that big ever. Very impressive dead head. So much for the BS that lions only kill the sick and weak!!!

I dont see that high of a score either, but coues deer can be very deceiving especially in pics. That deer looks like it has 20 inch or greater main beams, what a stud. Our family has harvested many giants over the years, and if i was lucky enough to even see a deer like that one on any given year, i would feel extremely blessed. I would trade 2 years in the field for even a shot at a buck like that, even if i missed. Also, clay goldman is a great scorer and taxidermist, and if anything he's probably a liitle low on his score. What a find indeed. Thanks for posting santana outdoors.
