Expect heat and be thankful if it's cooler. I have the same tag this year and have hunted the other hunts in the past. Last year, October was nice and cool. Deer were easy to find and all three of us tagged out. Year before late November it was cooler and we went one for two. We hunt the same canyon year after year and the deer are always plentiful. It's only about a 1/2 mile hike from the road and we rarely see other hunters. Hunt the same areas you hunted in December and you will be fine.
We haven't seen many illegals the last two years but have seen many stashes of water in canyons left by human rights group.
