70" + Coues Deer

Anyone have pictures of Coues deer that score 70" and up? I am headed to AZ on my first hunt for Coues in January. Just trying to get an idea on what to look for. Since 70" is the minimum for P&Y, that is the standard for me on this hunt.

If you could post the score along with the photo's it would help!

Thanks!

It takes very little to reach 70 on a coues deer. If you see a buck that has 3 points per side then he will be in the 70 inch range or very close to it. Any decent looking 2 point with decent eyeguards will push 70 inches. I have never done the math on what it takes to hit 70 inches on a 3 point frame but i would guess that if a buck has at least 2 inch eyeguards and all of the points on his 3 point frame are at least 3 inches with very little mass will go 70 inches. Basically you can go anywhere in az in january and pretty much 7 out of 10 bucks will go 70 inches or better and that ratio will be higher in some of the better units. Good luck on your hunt, your going to be run ragged early in the game if your going after 70 inchers all day cause they will be every where you look. Sounds like fun for sure.

I hope to take the first good buck I see and then hunt Javelinas for the rest of the week. 7 day hunt. I can't wait!

Well, here is what I ended up with. Pretty happy with it, although it did not meet the 70" mark. I have a reason to go back now!
