AZ booner,,,Dad's first coues

Well my dad drew out a early tag here in central AZ and doubled it up with a elk tag he drew earlier in the year, He made the trip from VT west to AZ, we hunted hard and never found a bull he wanted to shoot so the focus went to deer for the 3 days of his hunt,After finding a ton of doe we stayed hard at it and on the last day connected with his first book buck.After 55 hard years of hunting it all paid off and I got to spend a awesome morning with my dad as he made the awesome 400 yard shot and put himself in the book, This is his first book buck and he didnt know what he killed till after talking to a few other hunters, On top of it this will be his first deer he is getting mounted and I get to keep it here in AZ at my house, can't wait to get him on the wall and add to my collection...taped out over 103 we will see what he finishes but reguardless of the score it was a once in a lifetime hunt, thanks for reading, hope all the pics come thru...Andy....side note we did get lucky and someone had shot this buck thru his ear..

Congrats on a great HUNT AND SUPER NICE BUCK!I really love big coues deer, and as crazy as it may sound I would 10x OVER HAVE A BOOK COUES buck over a book bull elk....Congrats again and thanks for sharing it....Hope you post pics of the finished mount once you have it back....
