Youth Burro Mtns Tag

My daughter drew this tag. I don't know much about it, so it's gonna be a fun summer and fall learning! I haven't ever hunted Coues before, so I have some research to do. If anyone would like to offer help, I am all ears!
She also drew the youth elk tag as well! Lucky little bugger!
She doesn't even know yet. I just got the emails.

Hey Jake, Coues forum is pretty slow. I have been watching as my son also drew the same tag. Are you a resident? No scouting trips for us as it is about a 2500 mile trip one way. If I get any good info I will share it with you. We just have fun trying something new. I am guessing it should be just alot of glassing and finding some pockets out of sight of a road. It is really slow here in the Coues forum!!!
I quit checking this post everyday because it was so slow. I posted about it in a couple other forums and did get some good info. We are nonres as well but I am planning on taking a scouting trip before her hunt just to get to know the area because I have never been there. It sounds like these coues are tough to hunt, and where my daughter is only 11, it may be quite the challenge. It would be nice if she could get one, but I want to take her just for the experience. She should remember these hunting trips forever I hope!
