I've never hunted couse deer and finally drew an AZ 33 late tag with 11-12 points. Planning on hunting the last week of the season over Christmas in hopes of less hunters during that time. If anyone has any insight or suggestions on the their experiences that they'd be willing to pass along, I'd greatly appreciate it.

If it's easier my email is [email protected]

Thanks for the consideration,
Chris

It took me 12 points and with that many points I had different expectations, but overall it was a unique fun hunt. We saw on average 30-50 does daily and less than a dozen bucks. Of the Bucks we saw the overwhelming majority were small immature bucks. We hunted the last 11 days of the season and saw very little to no rut activity.

Overall fun but not sure worth the points it took me. I think there are better units/options out there in my opinion.

>They doubled the number of permits
>for this hunt. Fun
>hunt but not sure if
>I would consider it a
>trophy hunt.

Not to mention the December hunt overlaps with OTC archery. Definitely not a low pressure, high success area for trophies but it has the potential...
