Bura Nut (MIA)

Luckily I have no idea and am back in the states so I wont find out......LOL....Tommy.....putting it nicely it was a very challenging hunt. I passed on 20-30 bucks but on the average the bucks were all real small. I saw one good buck twice on the same day but only for brief times then he was gone in the brush. I will eat tag soup and hopefully next time down the trip will be a bit more productive. One of the guys shot a small buck so as a party we went home with only one buck between the 4 of us...... Allen Taylor......

From Nogales it takes approximately 7 hours to get to the ranch. I will probably pick a different ranch for this next year.......... Thanks, Allen Taylor......

Don't have a tag either but....i'll be helping out Jeff and a few other friends. :)

Allen, 7 hours that's definetly a long way down. I have a deal going with WB, I need to help him sell some tags in exchange for a hunt.

Allen,
I'm sure good times were had, but the results sound a little disappointing. Could you elaborate on the hunt challenges a little more?

Doug

Allen, three over 100" one at 118 and a muley at 193.. Unfortunately I did not get to hunt very mucho but I did kill a coyote.hehe will be going back next year. We should talk soon.

J.D. I am glad you went, now you know it really is worth it to go. I am still going again but will look the ranch over before during the summer. Holler at me and we will talk...... Thanks, Allen Taylor......

Bura,
I almost bought one of your tags. 1 out of 4 in Mexico is not a very good success rate. What will you do different next year? What should I look for when booking my Mexico hunt? Who do you recommend I contact?
Thanks For your help

Murdoc: dont be decieved by 1 out of 4. We could have easily killed 4 bucks but the bucks were not very big. I did see one 100" type buck during the trip but I only saw a glimpse of him moving through dense mesquite/palo verde brush and couldnt find him again. This next time What I will do is go down and scout the ranch before I buy the tags. This was not a guided hunt just a way for me to go to MX. again. There are tons of outfitters who you can book through that take care of all the details and have pre-scouted ranches.. Call Ojo caliente- Tom Brown, Ubaldo Lopez, Duwane Adams-Arizona Big Game Hunts, Kirk Kelso Pusch Ridge Outfitters, Drummond Lindsay Desert Trophy Hunts, etc....Your first trip to Mexico should not be a DIY............Email me privately if you want a recommendation........ Thanks, Allen Taylor......
