Hello Fellow AZ Residents:
Jim and Darla Soloman of Outdoors Arizona (www.outdoorsaz.com) are putting together an event next weekend (3/11-3/13) called the Ultimate Outdoor Experience. The event will be held at West World in Scottsdale. It is an interactive show that allows folks to try-out various types of hiking, biking, camping, hunting, and fishing equipment.
In support of this event, the Junior Arizona Deer Association has been approached with a plea for help from Daisy Outdoor Products (you know, as in BB guns....), and I'm hoping to round-up some support! Daisy is sponsoring a 10 lane air rifle range set-up and they are in need of volunteers to help man the shooting lanes & supervise the little ones over the weekend.
This event will provide the little ones the opportunity to have a great time trying-out the Daisy products. Keep in mind that this may be the ONLY chance that some of these youngsters will get to try out a BB/pellet gun! YOU could play a pivotal role in turning a youngster on to shooting sports!!!
The hours for the Outdoors Show are from 10-6 on Fri & Sat, and from 10-4 on Sunday, and we will need at least 5-10 people there at all times (one supervisor for each two lanes...). Mature teens are also welcome to volunteer! If you can spare ANY time next weekend, please let me know as soon as possible! I need to get back and tell them if we have enough volunteers ASAP. Please PM me or e-mail me at [email protected] if you can help.
I know that this is short notice, but please consider making some time to help me make this happen!!!! Any help is appreciated, and you DON'T need to be an ADA member!!! IT'S FOR THE KIDS!!! ;-)
