Getting boring in here SO.............

LAST EDITED ON May-30-05 AT 02:31PM (MST)[p]Here are some pictures of a Coues that I found in the Burro Mountains while scouting for turkeys. In the third pick I included a shed that I found just a few days ago. The last pick shows some of the Coues sheds I have found over the last couple of years. The skull measures out at just over 100 inches. Enjoy

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, weapon in one hand, calls in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Great looking sheds......sure looks like the first one is a bit bigger than 100........... Thanks, Allen Taylor......

Looks like it should go into the low 100's, but I have been deceived before. The squiggly tines and beam points give it an interesting look, not to mention the little kicker off the G2.

Thanks guys.
I printed off one of the score sheets off of P&Y website and scored it myself so 100 is unofficial. I may have missed some measurements as well.

You know, I haven't seen any birds in the burros in a while. I have been spending A LOT of time out there lately and still haven't seen any sign. Not sure what is going on out there. They were thick in there a few years ago. We are doing a couple of water projects with our NWTF chapter, but I don't know if there are any left to help out??? May look at transplantin some in a few years.
