Does anyone have a name/number of who I could use to mount my new scope? I want it done right (which means not done by me....LOL...) I need to "get r done" in the next week or two so I can shoot and do all the stuff to be ready for Oct 22nd colorado hunt.......... Thanks, Allen Taylor......

Have you called Don's on McDowell?
I have the ring wrenches, alignment bar, lapping bar and boresighter, but Flagstaff is a long way to go for you.

BTW, what bullet did you choose to use in the 280?

Thanks Doug, I totally went brain dead, I will call Tim Tanner tomorrow. As for the bullets, I decided to use my .257 mag and am shooting the 120 partitions....... Thanks, Allen Taylor......

Good choice on the .257 MAG. It has excellent penatration at 60 yards. he he

Seriously... the .257 mag is a Coues deer killing machine.

What scope did you decide to use? I just ordered a Leupold 4.5-14 VXIII to replace my old Weaver 6x. In 2003 I had a 400 yard shot and that buck looked awful tiny(I still got him!) so I decided for this year's hunt I would bite the bullet and shell out the money for a little more magnification. What are most Coues hunters using? Mike

MF: I got the same scope you did but I have the premier reticle system in it. I have it zeroed at 300 for the main cross hairs and dots out to 600 yards. I sold the swarovski 6x18 because it was way to heavy and really like this scope. Thanks, Allen Taylor......
