My buddy drew a late Oct. Unit 23 tag and I may be an extra set of eyes for him on the hunt.. Trying to figure out what to expect..Does this unit hold very many good bucks? We do a lot of hiking and cover some ground...does anybody have any recommendations on where we can get away from the road and have a chance at getting into some nice ones? The unit has some good bucks my buddy took a nice one last year in the december hunt. I would hunt the wilderness areastry the salome if you want to get away from the roads there are three of them in the unit I think. That Oct. Hunt is a short hunt good luck
