Went out friday after work. Saw 19 deer (3 bucks) and ran into this guy walking back to the truck. Also saw 2 rattlers on the highway driving home. Enjoy. CB

33. Not sure how long that monster was. Probably about 14 inches or so. Usually they fatten up when they get older so I don't think this one was that old. CB

Damn... Who's that sexy dude in uniform!!!:D:D:D

Here is one we found the other day while out working. He was the third one I've seen this summer. They are cool looking creatures. This one was really docile and loved having his belly rubbed. Have you ever caught a horned toad and rubbed his belly till he goes to sleep? This Gila was the same way. He would go right to sleep in your hand. Anyways, cool pics guys...

Here is a familiar peak right behind where the Gila was found at. Any takers on which unit this is???

Been out scouting again, eh?

Years ago, in the old millenium, we would fish the Gilas out of the swimming pool at the Heard Scout Ranch by South Mtn.

I'm going to say 36C, Baboquivari Peak. Those Gilas are very cool, I'd love to see one in person some day.

Scotty,
Nice pics. Great camo too! You'll never see any illegal deer with that on, they hide right away! :)

I guess Bald Hill in 35A?

Chef, you are defeniately right about that!!! Your guess was close but no cigar. Couesbitten was right. That is Baboquivari peak down in 36C.

All right!! I'm pretty stoked to have gotten that right. I live in Washington state, but hunted 36C in December 2000 with two friends. Had a great hunt, we all shot decent bucks, and I am dieing to get back down there. If everything works out, it'll be next year, because I should have 6 bonus points.
