Applications are due the first week of April. Thought I would see what the best unit with the most likelyness to draw is. I was looking towards the Burros, Unit 24 and 27.

Well, those look like some good choices. The Burros is probably the best spot, but will be the most difficult to draw. I experienced that this year with not getting it on my first choice. 27 has historically been tough to draw, although with the seperation of species it seems that a lot of people who applied for coues there this year drew. 24 will probably be the most easiest tag to draw. I am hunting there this year and although the unit is huge, focusing on small areas seems to work. I missed a good buck the other day and have passed on some smaller ones.
Good Luck,
Jeff

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, weapon in one hand, calls in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

When did they do away with the Dec date for 27? The dates for it this year are Nov 11 - 15. I thought this has historically been a hunt during the first week of Dec. Just curious. CB

You know, I am not really sure. I have never had a real interest in that unit so I have never kept up on it.
