I drew a tag in december for 30a. Is there anyone that could point me in the right direction? This unit seems to lack a decent amount of whitetail. I could really use some advice.

Be careful where you choose to hunt, get permission to cross any private land and talk to all the land owners, be very passive and hospitable. I don't mean to scare you, but there's a lot of private land issues in this unit and I've heard some crazy stories about some of these occurences. Many of my spots were closed off and are not easily accessible now, so there's a congregation of hunters in a few good areas!
Why else do you think there's leftover tags, not to mention the decrease in the deer population.
