AZ Unit 32 Update

I will be leaving for AZ in a few days for my Coues hunt from Maine. Obviously I haven't done any on the ground scouting but was in the area a few years ago. I have several spots to check out. The wife will be with me (Non-Hunter) and we are not afraid to hike into the wilderness for a week if need be.

What is it looking like out there now? How is the water? While you're at it GPS readings on a hot spot would work as well....

I dont know much about 32 (i'm usually in 31), but the hunts this year have been tuff. the grass is really tall, making glassing dificult, and there is a lot more water then usual. But good luck!

I will be in 32 from the 16th to the 31st, should be an awesome hunt! Do you know what part of the unit you will be in?

Will probably start from the south and then try the center of the wilderness. Getting away from people is more important then lots of animals. Hopefully the rut will start. Should be a great time. We are stopping in CO for a late cow hunt for 2 days before turning south so I hope to arrive about the 19-20 and will stay to the end.....even if I tag out we are planning to hike and camp.

Sounds as you have a great trip with your wife happening soon. Good luck on your hunts and enjoy the country.

Your going to waste deer hunting time hunting CO elk! What are you thinking? Just kidding, should be a lot of fun! I am probably going to start on the west central part of the unit but hopefully will have time to travel to some different spots. If you see a white 00 tundra stop by and say hello. Good luck and lets us know how you do

i would take their advice and stay away from other hunters cuz thats always helped me in 32. wat part of the unit do u plan to hunt? take good binos and good luck!
