I need a Coues shed antler

I am a small time shed antler collector, and I am trying to get a big single shed antler from each of the different species and sub-species of antlered North American game animals. I understand that matched sets are worth substantially more than single sides, so that's why I decided to go with singles.
Does anybody out there have a really big Coues shed single in good condition they would be willing to part with. We could work out a trade for big muley sheds, or cash (if it's legal in your area). I'm not asking anyone to break any local laws, so let me know of any restrictions your state might have.

Specifically, I'm looking for a typical Coues Whitetail shed antler that scores around 60" or better, or a non typical over 65".

I'm also looking for a 4 point Sitka Blacktail shed that scores over 45", a Columbia Blacktail typical over 75" or NT over 85", a Roosevelt's Elk, and several subspecies of Caribou.

You can PM me or email me at [email protected]

go on to www.couewhitetail.com and look up Antlerboy.......his name is Josh Epperson and he is in this business. He comes on here as well, but may not be checking in as frequently. As for the Columbia blacktail, there is a forum blacktail forum here that you should post this info. I know there are a few guys on here that can get you the columbia & Roosevelt. The sitka will be a bit tougher. I suggest you call up Cy at Cy's sporting goods on Kodiak and you can probably get the Caribou and Sitka from him. If you have a problem with columbian, let us know. I have a few names you can call..... Thanks, Allen Taylor......

Thanks for the info. I've talked with Josh a time or two. He really knows his Coues stuff. The problem is I'll never be able to talk him out of anything good without spending a fortune because he knows what they're worth.

Hahahahaha!! Dee, Dave Boland about 2 weeks ago asked me to get a big single coues shed for a friend of his and I'm betting that was you right? If so I got a real nice 4pt (western count) for you. It's probably in the 50" range I'd guess, I've never put a tape on it though. Email me anytime you'd like at [email protected]

Holy crap I just noticed that you're looking for a shed at least 60"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that's gonna be quite a bit tougher since those are EXTREMELY hard to come by and just about as hard to let go of once you get them. I think I've only got one old chalked out shed that goes 60" and it's NT. Ah hell, shoot me an email anyway.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-18-07 AT 08:13PM (MST)[p]I had my numbers all wrong. I "want" a typical and non-typical 55" or better, but then I never get what I want. I would "settle" for anything for now, and 50 inches sounds pretty dang good. It's too bad I'm not the friend Dave Boland was talking about. That would be awesome.
