San Carlos whitetail hunt

I went up hunting with a friend of mine this last weekend. He had a zone A tag. He is stil up hunting but I had to come back to work. We glassed a nice wide buck Saturday afternoon and made a stalk but couldn't get close enough for a shot. So we came back in early Sunday morning and watched him chase some does around for a few hours and decided he was not quite what he was looking for. He would have been in the 70's but for that tag he can do much better. He just didn't have enough tine length. Unfortunately it was freezing and the wind was blowing like crazy. Sunday was really bad. Here are a few pics of us glassing and the bowl that the deer where in.

This picture is zoomed in but the buck and does where in the shade up on the left side of the bowl. It ended up being a lot further away then we thought. Probably about a mile away.
