Any Success - Bow hunts????

How did everyone do this past weekend in Arizona????? I went out with my son friday evening and we saw one good buck bed down by us (39 yds) away but couldnt shoot because of brush. Saturday we were blown off the mountain with hurricane force winds. Sunday we had three bucks at 20 yards but spooked them when my son picked up his bow, it clinked on the blind support pole. Had a great time even though we didnt shoot one. Tell me some stories about your weekend....................... Thanks, Allen Taylor......
 
Hey, that's great! Sounds like you too had a great time and had some action too! Keep up the good work...it'll happen. Tell Trav I said not to make noise when the deer are close...it'll scare them away! LOL. Keep up the good work.

Cool deal Allen! Sounds like you guys have a line on a hot spot. Hopefully only a matter of time until you guys get a shot! ;-)

Unfortunately I'm way to busy to think about getting-out with the bow this year, but between the boys and I we have several rifle tags. Should be a fun fall!

Good luck on sticking one of those deer!

I shot one on monday. Not the biggest one in the woods but my first. Completed my North American deer slam with a bow. I'm stoked. Those little rascals have been giving me fits. Ed F

Deer Grand Slam:

Mule deer
Whitetail
Sitka Blacktail
Columbian Blacktail
Coues Whitetail

Those are the 5 Boone & Crocket recognized deer species. I believe Columbian whitetail is or will be recognized soon now that Oregon has a limited season on them.............. Thanks, Allen Taylor......

I hope they add the Columbian Whitetail soon, as I've got one...
