OK Kilowatt, here are some pictures of my 2003 archery bucks from A-zone.

The first picture is of the buck about 2 weeks before season.

I was able to get with in range and stick an arrow into him opening weekend. The problem was that the shot was a hair high. The arrow went over it's lungs and below the spine. I tracked the slight blood trail until it quit and then looked until dark. I spent two weeks looking for this buck until he finally showed. It took another three weeks and six stalks later before I was able to put a second arrow into him to finish this long quest. When I boned out the buck the only evidence of the wound was a slight X where the arrow entered and exited. If you were not looking for it you would have missed the slight scar. Goes to show how hearty these deer are.

The next two pictures are of both reack from 2003. My second buck is on the left.

Nice bucks, awesome story. You guys are killing. I'm really getting the bug for these blackies. Oh yes, it will be mine, oh yes. :)

Those are a couple of nice bucks for sure Bill and the drive to not give up and find that Buck after so long. My hat is off to you for the determination to find him. A true sportmans.

Good job Bill, nice bucks. I don't know how you guys can stick a buck with an arrow in CA. I've tried (unsuccessfully) a few times but couldn't close the distance. I'm not sneaky enough I guess. Congrats

Great job on not giving up on the deer once wounded. Like Brian said signs of a true sportsman. Good job. Are these on PVT or public land? North or south of the state. Just curious. Once again good job and good luck this coming season. looks like you might have some picked out already.

Happy trails
