Hi guys,
I am very interested in going on a blacktail hunt. I live in Wyoming and have never even seen one but have been dreaming of the chance to hunt one for a long time. I've hunted Mule deer for years and have an interest in hunting all the deer. Can anyone give me more information on the best places to hunt them? I know of Cal., OR and Wash. Also any good guides you know of or experienced hunters looking to hunt mule deer in Wyoming? Don't know if I can say this on the forum, but possible trade hunt..I am NOT looking for Boone and Crocket, just a representative deer.
Can a Non resident hunt them unguided in these Western states?Marty

Hey Marty I have been hunting them all my life here in CA.I am looking for info on area G.Email me.Mabey we can help each other. [email protected]

bonecollector: e-mail me at [email protected]. Iam in santa barbara ca. 50,000 acre ranch close by very nice deer on prop. in the 1500 dollar range. some nice deer on local public as well.

yolla bolly outfitters, Rick come on here from time to time, he's got a really good high production area in the b-zone, with quality animals...always tags left over in the B-zone (coastal zone)

Thanks to all of you who offered advise. I am on the call back list for the Meissner Ranch in zone B for hopefully next year. What a great forum and great group of hunters on this site......
Thanks again,
Marty

NO not the Meizzner Ranch! I'll talk!
I will tell you the spot its called........
I'd better email it to you soon Marty but its in B-1
and chances you can take a good Black Bear too!(WE see 500lbs allday eatting the gut piles we just don't have any interest in them)!
