Son's first bow buck.....

my oldest connected on his first bow buck tonight, a spork he missed a 150" 4x5 opening morning at 15 yrds...oh well he's happy...I got a pic but i'm a dummy...don't know how to post it...

1st was a big deal to me also!(a 3x3 in B-1 ALONG TIME A GO!!).
I'm going scouting for Elk in B6(MARBLES MT!)tomorrow!
My bow string just broke so I won't take it. I want to see if the Bulls are showing any rutting signs!(herding cows,sparring,bugles,etc!).
Also I got a tip that a good size herd was spotted in a new area that came from the Del Norte side!(radio collars?).
Surely I may get some talking to some guys hunting now!

manny15, congratulations to your son's first bow buck! He missed a big buck but bagged a smaller one? I'm afraid that is the recipe for a liftime of hunting fever! He loves the buck he got but will always dream of the one that got away. I understand it all too well. I have some pictures to share but I'm a dummy when it comes to computers also. I'll have to wait till my daughter visits at Thanksgiving to learn how.
