an intro and a ?

Hi all,
I live in western WA, haven't hunted deer in this area before. I have been an avid duck hunter for the last 10 years or so. I'm going to try my hand at hunting deer this coming season. Any pointers on some spots to scout for blacktails? I was thinking up towards Packwood or out near Elma for starters. Any help would be great.
