This forum gets a little slow for some reason this time of year.Let's see some Blackies posted. Here is mine for 2005, not a monster but my standards are usually low during bow season so I can get some venison in the freezer first before I start Horn hunting!!!

Had him at 42 yrds quartering towards me when I touched off the release he jumped the string and took it right in the face.Im definitly thankful for a fast bow, rock solid broadheads, and a quick kill. Didnt know they could drop at least a foot that fast to turn and get outa there like he tried.I will definitley enjoy this tasty buck knowing how lucky I was to get him with this funky shot placement!!!!

Nice buck JR, I didn't know you were on this site. It's Ryan from Corning.

I stuck a similar forkie, but he had a little third point coming off the right side. Missed another one earlier on Sat. Got the other one on Monday near Platina. Can't wait to see what rifle produces for us! See ya.

Hey Ryan good to hear from ya, Yes Iv been on this site for some years know and some other's as well, great site to get info and see some awsome pics .Good to hear ya stuck some, Im headed to the x zones with the rifle and then to Wyoming so Im just guiding the wife and son in the B-zone now Hope they connect with the rifle as well.
Jeff

Well, good luck to both of them, and you in the x zone. I'm headed out to Hayfork with the monster b zone buck hopes, but I'm sure I'll pull the trigger on a forkie like always. Anyways, let me know how you do.

What'd you do, throw him over your back and walk out? JK!
Nice buck, and that looked like it hurt! I'm sure he didn't feel much though.

Michael~All Gods creatures welcome... right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.
