has anyone on here heard about a giant blacktail getting taken in port orchard W.A.I heard a roomer from two reliable sources that someone shot a huge blacktail in the port orchard W.A area.one guy said he saw the pics and is trying to get one for me.Roomer says it is 31" wide 27" tall with drop tines on each side that come down and fork.I would like to find out if this is true. And if so, would like to see pics.

31 inches wide???? Highly unlikely! 27 inches tall, no friggin way. It's a tall tale!.

DOUBLE DROPS THAT FORK??????????????????????
Maybe in Canada. BCboy has some wild photos of weird drops and palmated racks however those are only 22"/24" wide!
I bet the house on it to be untrue!

Especially out of Port Orchard! Somebody that lives in PO probably killed a Muley like that somewhere out of state and next thing you know it's a new world record blacktail. :)

no matter where it was killed, I would like to see a picture with a yard stick stuck on the top of his head for that 27 tall measurement.

The buck does exist, its no 31" inches wide or 2 feet tall but it is insanely massive and does have forked drop tines. There is a picture of it on the bragging board at the silverdale sportsmans warehouse. Its a typical frame 3 point, with 2 huge droppers that fork and it is really massive, im talking pop can size bases.

I finally got the picture from my buddy last night. It is a dandy thick antlered buck.looks like it could be 31 wide but it is wide from the drop tines, definately not the 27 tall though, but it does have huge drop tines that do fork and on the right side it does fork and then fork again.I will try to get the picture up here soon for everyone to see but I need to hook up with a scanner.

LIAR! LAIR! PANTS ON FIRE!
NOT AN BLACKIE FROM CALIBACKIE!

My wifes cousin shot a buck somewhere over there, mercer island or some place like that and I saw a picture and said where did he shoot the muley but it was just a big blacktail. a big heavy 4pt with some width. They also shot it out of an orchard I think. They have some bigones over in that area.

I am having trouble getting the picture on here. I have it on my email and can send it to someone that knows how post them.Would like for you all to see the pic it is definatley a unique deer.I am leavin saturday though on a 9 day hunt so we would have to do it quick or wait another week.

If I had a 31 wide and 27 tall 4x4 or the buck in the picture, I would take the buck in the picture! Love the mass and junk this buck has. I would love more pics from the sides also.

Thanks for the pics.

That is one uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugly buck! Glad he is out of the gene pool! I would rather have him as a 2x2 than that crap. Thanks for the pics, rather interesting buck!

That's a pretty unbelievable buck considering where it came from. I think it's pretty cool looking....and would definately put it on my wall.

Neat deer, lots of character, love top have a blacktail like that on the wall.

Went duck hunting with bigjosh this morning, and from the sound of it thats not the buck he is talking about.

Sorry about the red x thing, I saw this pic on another site and tried to copy it to this site. I don't know any specifics or if it's even the same buck as the one big josh has pic's of. I did how ever cape out and score a Blacky that was taken here locally, for a taxidermist friend that grossed 139 5/8 " and netted 135 5/8" green. Really a nice symetrical buck. I will get some pic's of the rack up this week.

that is the same buck just not a picyure of it I have seen yet I got a better pic that I will send to eelgrass to post
