LAST EDITED ON Jan-13-06 AT 07:04PM (MST)[p]This is a buck that was taken by a hunter I don't know but was shot this season only a couple miles from my house. A friend of mine scored it for him i'm not sure if this is gross or net but 145" is the score. This picture doesn't do it true justice but it was the only one I have. I guess Washington does deserve a little space in here.

Another hunter I know that consistently takes huge bucks took his best this year, a 159" 4 x 4 and another friend a 120" 4 x 4.

I will try to get pictures of these also.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-17-06 AT 11:34AM (MST)[p]Great buck!! Hopefully you can get pictures of the others too. Was he archery, late rifle,....

What a tremendous blacktail. Coon, I had no idea they got that big in our neck of the woods. Nice one!

The 3 bucks I've talked about were all harvested during the 4 day late rifle hunt in Lewis County, thats as close as we'll say.

I did however see the largest Blacktail I have ever seen during the late archery hunt. I was in knee deep snow and he walked side hill to me at about 100 yds. He stopped and watched me for probably 5 minutes but there was nothing between me and him so all I could do is enjoy the sight. He was a perfect 4 x 4 with extremely deep forks front and back and probably 22" wide. I had just been talking to my hunting partner and I made the comment that I was not sure if I had ever seen a B & C buck during a hunt. Well there is definetely know doubt now, I am sure it was probably 150+ type of buck. I actually got to see him twice, but a foot and a half of frozen snow makes archery hunting challenging at best.

Nice buck, my son lives and works around Eatonville and has seen a few like that but never when he was hunting them. I shot a nice 3x3 two years ago up here around outside of Issaquah. The cool thing is he was fighting with another good buck on a very steep 4 year old clear cut for almost 15 mins.It was amazing what they were doing. One of the top two or three things I have witnessed in the woods!

anybody know anything of a booner that was shot in east king county in '04???
seems i remember seeing something somewhere but can't remember the details.

I am still waiting for that 4x4 blacktail. Over the past few season i have got a couple real nice 3x3s with eye guards but no solid four pointer yet. Nice deer.
