Olympic Peninsula High Country Buck Season?

I just moved to WA from MT and plan on hunting the wilderness areas on the Olympic Peninsula in Sept. I have never hunted blacktails and would like any advice on hunting these wilderness areas in Sept., especially from those who have hunted here before. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I live in eastern WA, and have always wanted to go over and hunt the wilderness areas on the peninsula as well. As far as the hunting methods, I could be wrong, but I believe that you can hunt much like you would in a high mountain area for mule deer. I would be trying to get up near or above the tree line, and then do a lot of glassing at first/last light for bucks. Let us know how you do. Scott/couesbitten
